Node.js API

3 environment variables found in .env.example

Set these on your host before deploying. Each platform has an “Environment Variables” section in the deploy flow.

ANTHROPIC_API_KEY secret For the anthropic-api provider. Also used as fallback auth for claude-code agents when no Claude Code login exists.
OPENAI_API_KEY secret For the openai-api and codex providers.
GOOGLE_GENERATIVE_AI_API_KEY secret For the gemini-api provider.

Alternative Fly.io Anything Dockerized — requires the Fly CLI.

macOS

brew install flyctl && fly launch --from https://github.com/automattic/wordpress-skill-experiments

Linux
